We render Audubon's greatest works perfectly -- we even capture the patina and character of the 175-year old paper. Audubon presented his gracefully composed birds in actual life size, and therefore we re-create the Double Elephant Folio in full and exact scale. A Cruise Scanner, with a resolution of more than 60 million megapixels, is used to meticulously copy the work of art. This is, in fact, the process used by most famous International museums. After rigorous quality control, the final giclees are printed with a resolution of 2880 dpi (dots per inch). In addition, a paper is used which carefully match the original in quality and color. Of course acid free and only with pigment inks. This combination of the finest quality paper and expensive ink provides a guaranteed storage life of 80 to 300 years. The quality of ours far exceeds all other Audubon print reproductions.
